Ann Attends the Paul Mitchell Signature Gathering in Rome
The energy was so high it could have lit up the whole of Rome.
This winters Signature Gathering truly demonstrated what’s behind the bottle, featuring hands-on education from Paul Mitchell Artistic Directors and Platform Artists, incredible hair shows and a groovy 70’s theme party that evoked Studio 54’s heyday.
Nearly 1,600 stylists, salon owners, distributors and Future Professionals gathered at the Shereton for a chance to celebrate, learn and connect like never before.

Buxton Stylist Ruth gears up for Wella
Trend Vision Award 2007
WELLA professional hair products are all set for the annual staging of its International Trend Vision Award 2007.
Wella have chosen 30 stylists from an amazing 1000plus outstanding salon in the North of England, from photographic work, amongst the stylists chosen is Ruth Dean (24), Stylist with Artisan hair and beauty. Ruth said ‘Hair Trends are what I love. Trends are what we’re wearing. I am very proud and excited at being chosen to take part and perhaps have the opportunity to represent my salon and the UK in Barcelona’
The winning team—composed of a stylist Ruth Dean, an assistant Victoria Goddard and model—will have the distinct honor to represent England and compete in the international Wella Trend Vision Award in Barcelona, Spain in November2007.
The first heat is in Bolton moving onto London and then the final in Barcelona. The much-awaited event offers young hairdressers the opportunity to show their potential as hair artists by creating their personal interpretation of the current trends based on Wella Trend Vision concepts.

Congratulations to Adena from Artisan hair and beauty who has been chosen from hundreds to join the internationally renowned ‘Paul Mitchell Artistic Team’. Bright lights, catwalks, models, celebrity stylists and celebrity models all await Adena.
The Paul Mitchell Luxury Hair Care Team has worked with ‘BIBA’ at London fashion week, BRIT AWARDS with boy band ‘Take That’, ‘Lily Allen’ and educational seminars for many top salons.
Adena joined Artisan hair and beauty a year ago and has had her photographic collections printed in several magazines, which helped her to gain a place on the artistic team. When Adena heard she had been successful for the team she said ‘I felt so proud of the skills I have learnt at Artisan, it shows that all the passion and hard work I have put in is rewarded, I am very excited and proud to be given this opportunity’
Artisan’s owner Ann said ‘it has been a privilege to mentor Adena and watch her skills and creativity grow over the last year, the team and I look forward to traveling to Adena’s shows and working with her in the salon, we look forward to seeing the new styles that Adena brings back from the catwalks’
ARTISAN ARTISTIC CREW TEAM UP WITH CELEBRITY HAIRDRESSER DARREN AMBROSE
Twice nominated ‘British hairdresser of the year’ celebrity stylist Darren Ambrose appeared at the Wella studios in Manchester to show the team at Artisan hair and beauty the benefits of his new cutting, coloring and stage techniques.

Artisan’s creative team met with Darren on a ‘working with hero’s evening’. Adena said the event was ‘very inspiring’. Stylists Victoria, Ruth and Adena are looking to follow in Darren’s footsteps and complete the top Wella accreditation of MCE and to produce photo shoots for local and national media over the next 12 months.
